Daniela is a commercial litigator who represents businesses and high-profile individuals in complex disputes in state and federal courts. A significant part of Daniela’s practice focuses on cross-border matters involving clients, assets, and witnesses across multiple countries, including Venezuela, Panama, Mexico, Spain, and Guatemala. Fluent in English and Spanish, Daniela has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation in both languages and navigating the unique challenges presented by international disputes.

Before joining Sperling Kenny Nachwalter, Daniela served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Madeline H. Haikala of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.  She subsequently practiced as a commercial litigation associate at a Band 1 Chambers-ranked litigation firm in Miami, where she represented clients in complex business disputes.

Daniela earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law. During law school, she served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review, successfully briefed and argued an appeal before Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal, and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Carlton W. Reeves of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

Daniela is also an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association, which recognized her as Member of the Year in 2025.  She is also a graduate of the organization’s Leadership Academy.
