AYA HAMZA SELECTED AS ARAB AMERICA FOUNDATION 30 UNDER 30 AWARDEE
May 19, 2026 - Sperling Kenny Nachwalter is proud to announce that antitrust litigation analyst Aya Hamza has been selected as one of the Arab America Foundation’s 30 Under 30 Awardees for the Class of 2026.
The Arab America Foundation’s 30 Under 30 initiative recognizes thirty Arab Americans across the United States for exceptional professional achievement, leadership, and commitment to their communities and Arab heritage.
Aya is an Iraqi-American, Miami native, and graduate of the University of Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Middle Eastern Studies. Her academic work examined the intersection of foreign direct investment frameworks and the development of the rule of law, including a senior thesis analyzing Egypt Vision 2030 and its pro-arbitration implications for legal and economic systems.
Building on this research, Aya founded MENAInvestmentHub.com, an open-access repository of Arab League bilateral investment treaties designed to support entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy advocates.
During her academic career, Aya also served as a youth delegate representing the United States and the United Kingdom and was selected to speak at the 16th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva on the “Financing the Future: Young Voices in Sustainable Investment” panel.
As an analyst at Sperling Kenny Nachwalter, Aya contributes to the firm’s multi-district antitrust litigation teams and to its pro bono cases.
