October 20, 2026 – Sperling Kenny Nachwalter is pleased to announce that Jordan Birnholtz and Aleschia D. Hyde joined the firm as associates in the Chicago office.

Jordan’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation involving antitrust, intellectual property, and business disputes. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at a premier Am Law 100 firm, representing clients across a variety of industries, including medical devices, professional services, and consumer products, in intellectual property, copyright, false advertising, and complex commercial disputes. Before practicing law, Jordan founded three venture-backed software companies and co-developed software applying machine learning and generative AI to patent validity and infringement analysis.

Aleschia represents clients in high-stakes litigation involving commercial disputes, product liability claims, antitrust matters, and regulatory investigations. She advises plaintiffs and defendants through all stages of litigation, including discovery, expert witness development, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation. Prior to joining the firm, Aleschia practiced at a nationally recognized litigation boutique, concentrating on product liability and mass tort litigation, including pharmaceutical matters. Earlier in her career, she practiced in the litigation group of an Am Law 100 firm and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

“Adding lawyers of this caliber to our Chicago office is great news for our clients and reinforces our standing as a premier litigation firm. Jordan and Aleschia have the talent and drive to own the courtroom and, in time, to lead this firm,” said the firm’s Managing Partner, Steven C. Florsheim.
